A couple of random shots and some new faces

Now that I’ve installed Bon Voyage I thought I’d take a couple of pictures of my White Horse Vale families getting ready to move into their new houses - I always re-install everything from scratch when a new expansion pack is released, as the royal palace kept crashing the game during my first attempt at the Royal Kingdom Challenge. Re-housing the peasants and merchants - Gardener family and Chandler family respectively - isn’t too much of an issue as their houses were originally in Veronaville. The new royal palace and nobles’ mansion aren’t too bad either, as I made a quick floor plan of their houses before taking out my saved games, etc. prior to installing everything again. Anyway without further ado, here are the Gardeners in an empty lot to make sure that they’ve survived the move:

Graphics problem

Just a quick post to let everyone know that there won’t be a new chapter until my graphics are sorted out. I recently upgraded my computer’s RAM, and since then the quality of the graphics have gone downhill by a mile. However a new graphics card should help, so as soon as everything’s back to how it should be Chapter 4 will be online. Until then I’ll keep playing the families so that the children of generation three get to the teen stage - they’re still annoying toddlers at the moment :D

Just in case you’ve missed the family trees (there’s a link at the side), here are the children for generation three:

Children of Louis and Hannah Montgomery (royals) = Alicia and Edmund (heir)

Child of Edward and Olivia Knight (nobles) = James (heir)

Children of George and Charlotte Chandler (merchants) = Monty (heir) and Evelyn

Children of Jack and Brooke Gardener (peasants) = Annie and Bobby (heir)

There’s also been a late addition to generation two - the king and queen, Charles and Sophia Montgomery, have a second son named Alfred. I thought it may be a good idea to have a spare as well as an heir!

One final thing: I mentioned on my other blog, Sims 2 Tales, that I’ll be starting a new non-legacy series The Dark Seduction of Vampyres. I was aiming to start it late September/early October, so hopefully I can stick to that launch date if the graphics are better in the next couple of weeks :)
